IRISH to Thanks all who HELPED

Lots of people came together to help with our First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Food Booth. It began with the preparation and the gathering of the donated items days before the event took place.

On Friday we began by washing, cutting, cooking, shredding and bagging the much needed ingredients for our special Corn Beef and Cabbage Feast. The cooking staff consisted of Valerie Bird, Lucy and Krista Padilla, Pam, Hank, and Tyler Green, Cheri and Laurie Allen, Gale Fisher, and Mike and Cindy Landin. Thanks to the Salvation Army Kitchen, they had lots of room to work.

On Saturday, March 17th, work began at the crack of dawn by getting the supplies gathered and hauled to the booth downtown. Thanks to Hank’s brother Rex, most of this was accomplished using his trailer.

Lots of people manned the booth and the auxiliary was able to raise about $500.00 to be used in future community projects. Here are a few of the faces you may have seen that day….Cheri & Laurie Allen, Gale and Gary Fisher, Valerie & Jeff Bird, Lucy & David Padilla, Gina Legros, Pam Green, Monica Rillamas, Tammy Smith, Julie Ott, and Cathy Padilla.

Thanks for Your Support

We received donations of food, ice, cook ware, and supplies from our members and various vendors in our community. And it was because of their generosity, we were able to raise the money. A poster which displayed the names of the providers was also set-up at the booth.

THANKS AGAIN goes to:

T & A Farms
The Produce Market
Salvation Army Kitchen
Stamps Etc.
Super K-mart
Aqua 2000
Pueblo Elementary School

Other Donations

Came in the way of time, expertise and supplies. We can not say thanks enough! We would also like to say thanks to Kary Young for the use of her coffee warmer and to the crew of Station # 1 for the help they gave packing up the equipment after a very long day.
