Flower Petal Dishcloth

Materials:

Small amount of ww cotton yarn in 2 colors
Size "G" (4.0 or 4.25 mm) crochet hook


Stitches used:
ch
sl st
sc
trc
picot (ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook)



Ch 4, join with a sl st to form a ring.

RND 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc). 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st in top of first ch 3. (12 dc).

RND 2: Ch 4, (counts as first dc, ch 1), *dc, ch 1 in each dc around. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of first ch 4. (12 dc, 12 ch 1 sps).

RND 3: Ch 3, * 2 dc in ch 1 sp, dc in dc. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of first ch 3. (36 dc).

RND 4: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining. * Ch 3, sk 2 dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. (12 ch 3 sps).

RND 5: Join 2nd color with sl st in any ch 3 sp. Ch 4, 6 trc in same ch 3 sp. *ch 2, sc in next ch 3 sp, ch2, 7 trc in next ch 3 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in top of first ch 4.

RND 6: Sl st to center trc. Join 1st color. Ch 1, sc, ch 3, sc in same trc. * Ch 3, sc in next ch 2 sp. Ch 1, sc in next ch 2 sp. Ch 3, sc, ch3 sc in center trc of group. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sc.

RND 7: Sl st to ch 3 sp. Ch 4, 6 trc in same sp. * Ch 4, sc in next sc. Ch 1, sc in nex sc, ch 4, 7 trc in next ch 3 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in top of 1st ch 4.

RND 8: Join color 2 in same st as joining. Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in next 2 sts. * Sc, picot, sc in next st. Sc in next 3 sts. 4 sc in ch 4 sp. Sc, picot, sc in ch 1 sp. 4 sc in ch 4 sp. Sc in next 3 sts. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.


For Hotpad use size "E" hook

(make 2)
Repeat rnds 1-7 of dishcloth

Holding pieces with wrong sides together, join using directions for rnd 8 of dishcloth. Fasten off and weave in ends.
