| At 10:00 am, Mary Rose came into the world after 5 hours of labour. Mary was born at home with midwives from Birth Partnerships in attendance. Although a birth center birth was planned, baby Mary convinced Alison a ride in the truck at rush hour in hard labour was out of the question. The midwives quickly adapted to the new home birth plan. Mary was born onto an assortment of old towels usually used by dog Kess (which fortunately were clean). Alison, Dale, and Mary found the home birth experience to be excellent, and all are healthy and happy. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
