You will decide on the "look" and organization of the site to your preferences or I will make suggestions. Then you will need to e-mail your files or ged-com to me and then I will do the rest!!!

What does this include? I will place your family site on a server, register the site with search engines, submit your site with the various GenWeb counties that apply to your family, attach a guest book, submit your gedcom to a surname database server, attach a counter and maintain the site for 1 year. When you need to make corrections and/or additions just send the information and I will make your on-line information current.

All you have to do is check your guest book and wait for e-mail from long lost relatives. You will be amazed at the contacts and new information you will receive when you have your own family web site. You will save time and money by not having to make as many trips in your research efforts.

Create Home/Main page - $50.00

One (1) - Four (4) additional pages - $12.00 each

Five (5) and on up additional pages - $10.00 each

To change graphics on Home page - $15.00

To change graphics on additional pages- $7.00 each

To place your pages at Geocities and maintain for a year - $55.00 See below for maintenance plan.

 

PACKAGE PLAN FOR ONE (1) YEAR MAINTENANCE:

Create the Main or Home Family Page. (You will provide the text and comments you would like to appear.)

Create three (a total of four with Home Page) additional linked pages. These can be family genealogical reports, files, photos, etc.

Placement at Yahoo's Geocities. I will take care of monthly charge.

Register your site at "Genealogy Pages" http://www.genealogypages.com/

Register your family site with eight (8) search engines.

Submit your family site to the GenWeb counties which you designate. Most of them will then place links to your family site. Wonderful way for other researchers to find you!!!

Attach counter and guest book to your family Home page.

Submit your gedcom to a surname database server and link to your Home page.

Update your files as you receive new information.

Link from your family web site to other sites of your choice.

AFTER THE FIRST YEAR - COST TO MAINTAIN SITE WILL BE $55.00 ...... TO COVER SERVER FEE AND CHANGES AND/OR ADDITIONS YOU WISH TO MAKE

I hope that you consider allowing me to help assist you in creating your family history web site. I have developed my own family site and have learned many tricks to gain the attention of other family members and researchers. Through the website my brother and I have added many new names. We were contacted by others with corrections, additions and more family history and stories. We had reached a time when we would have to travel to make new discoveries, but our family web site replaced the travel.
