Parties and Visitors - 2006
Here are the girls with Grandma in May. We went to Maine for a few days. It was a nice visit. More on our trip to Maine on our Vacation page.
Here is a nice picture with Aunt Susan just before we took her to the train. She had a heck of a time getting here. She almost got stuck in Canada - but alas - - the customs agent let her out and we got to see her for a week. More about her visit on the Vacation Page.. |

In July Grace turned 6 years old!! We had a nice party with a bunch of her friends. Lawn games of dress up, water races and sprinklers were the highlight, along with a serious treasure hunt. She also enjoyed a "Doggie Cake" - (don't ask!). The best part was sharing the day with lots of friends. |
|
We spent a Beautiful Fourth of July with Major Vince and his son David. Good times were had by all. After a day of fun and feasting we went to Bennington for fireworks. A truly funfilled family day.

Aunt Sugar & Uncle Jack came for the girls dance recital. It was so nice to share this with them. We also spent Thanksgiving with them in Rochester and then went on to Stockton, NY on Firday to visit with the Haenels. It was nice to share the holiday with such wonderful family and friends.
Here are the Haenels with
their son Jason and us out in front of their house by
Bear Lake. A beautiful spot on a balmy 50 degree day in
November. Not NY like at all, but enjoyed for what it
was. No pictures, but we also treked to their property
and found lots of cool fossils. We'll have to camp there
next year and send some pictures. It is quite the place. Perhaps the highlight for the girls were several trips into the Haenel Hot Tub. Does wonders for a stiff back. |
I'm quite certain that we had other visitors and parties. However, they were so much fun we forgot to snap any pictures!
