Birthdays are my favorite time because then I have a reason to bake
alot :O)
Here you will find some of my favorit recipes. Enjoy!

Since I´m planning to
add many recipes here I´m writing all measurements in Swedish
terms. Look below how to change everything.
I would really like some comments on this...If it´s
alot of trouble when you want to bake something, let me know... And
also, please ask if there is something you don´t understand.
I know my translation can be messed up sometimes :O)
Measurements:
1 pound(lb) = 16
oz
|
= 454 gr.
|
1 ounce(oz)
|
= 28,35 gr.
|
1 liquid pint
|
= 4,7 dl.
|
1 dry pint
|
= 5,5 dl.
|
1 cup
|
= 2,4 dl.
|
How
to change from degrees Celsius to Farenheit:
For instance...50 degrees Celsius*...
50* x9 = 450/5 = 90+32 = 122 degrees Farenheit.
(Degrees times 9, divided by 5, add 32)

Vanilla-buns
2 dl. cream-milk
(one
part cream, one part milk)

25 gr. yeast
|
75 gr. butter
|
3 table-spoons sugar
|
1 egg
|
8 dl. flour (give
or take some)
|
3 dl. vanilla-cream
|
melted butter and
sugar
|
Heaten the fluid to 37 degrees. Use some of it and pour over
the yeast. Stir the butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the egg,
yeast and the rest of the fluid. Work the flour to a nice dough.
Let it stand until it reaches almost twice the size.
Roll the dough to
a large square. Take out round cookies, about 3'5 inches across.
Put a little vanilla-cream on each cookie and pinch them together
to little bundle and put them with the pinched side down on
a baking- sheet. Let the buns stand until they are alot bigger.
Cook in oven for about 10 minutes.
Put the melted butter on the buns and turn in sugar.
