This is Callie. She's my beautiful tortoise-shell cat. She and her brother, Jake, are my sanity in a sometimes crazy world. No matter how bad I feel, or how down I am, I can always count on them to make me laugh.

Callie is my "kisser." If I get on her level, she will always lean forward and give me a little kiss on the nose.

This is Jake. He's my cuddler. Whenever I sit down, he curls up in my lap or as close to me as he can get. If I'm at the computer, he's laying on top of my scanner. If I'm sewing, he's laying on the sewing machine cabinet.

He's also my talker. He is the most vocal cat, to not be a Siamese. And he can sweet talk with the best of the male species (two-footed as well as four-footed).

They also enjoy helping me on the computer. They protect me from the printer and scanner - both of which have, according to them, animals living within; and they attack the mouse cursor on the screen.
