QUERY # 2 : SUBJECT Horse Thieves?
Researcher is Susan
Does anyone have the whole story about Jonathan and Reuben being hung for horse thieving? I am afraid I am doubly descended! I know the story had survived in several branches of family. Please contact me if you know anything, or grew up hearing anything. Thanks!
QUERY # 3 : SUBJECT Eliza/Elizabeth PEACHER
Researcher isFrances
My GGrandfather John Brown was married to Eliza Peacher March 1843 in Howard County, MO, then moved to Livingston Co. MO had five children. I assume she died because he remarried in 1859. I know nothing more about it. Would love to know where she is buried. I have a feeling she is somewhere in Howard County. Any information will be welcome.
Frances: Elizabeth Peacher, daughter of Reuben Peacher and Ann Frances Peacher, married John Brown in 1843. Reuben's letter on this website mentions briefly that in 1853 Elizabeth and John Brown had a new son whom they named Reuben. Elizabeth died April 02, 1859 at about 34 years of age, but I have record that she died in Howard County.
from most recent to oldest.
