  • Peter Salkeld, Sale, Cheshire, husband of Susan, father of Joanne and Emilie, joined the Royal Navy in 1987. His first posting should have been on "HMS Sheffield" however, the Sheffield was diverted to the Falklands and sank during the conflict. He was then posted on the Her Majesty's Royal Yacht Brittania where he served on the Queens own ship. During recent years he has been assigned to the "HMS Ark Royal" and "HMS Edinburgh" and has been on duty in the Gulf
