 COMMUNITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IS . . .

       A Resort Ministry . . . because the community is a noted resort center. People from all around the world consider this delightful island a " home away from home. " They come for two weeks and stay six months. Fishing, swimming, sunbathing, shelling and enjoying the everchanging beach - and weather ! To all our visitors for one Sunday or many, we are commited to offering a meaningful worship experience. A time of inspiration and renewal. A time of sharing with one another God's love revealed in Jesus Christ.

      An Ecumenical Ministry . . . because those who worship represent denominations and religions. We are truly committed to providing worship that cuts across theological positions, embracing the " family of believers ." For example, Holy Communion ( celebrated the first Sunday of each month ) is open to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord. On one Sunday, 26 different denominations shared this exciting worship.

      A Ministry to the Total Community . . . We are committed to acknowledging and fulfilling the Christ-like role of sevant to all who will accept our ministry - permanent residents and visitors alike. The pastor and members are available for counseling, assistance, and sharing without regard to church affiliation or anything except need.
