It seems like only yesterday

That God put you in my care

I watched As you began to grow and play

Before I knew it you even

Had lots of light curly hair

Yes lots of curly blond hair to stay

Time seemed to fly as they say
And soon you were in the schools care

First day you screamed when time to play

I felt so bad because you hadn't learned to share

You learned very quickly

Because at home you did not want to stay

Years sped by, before I knew

You were tall and strong

Of course I always felt that

You My Son were always good

For all your help Son...

I will be forever grateful

Son I can't change the things of the past
Just know Son that my feelings
