A moment to reminisce!

Staying up straight for 5 nights, finally turning in on the last night,

blissfully asleep for about a half hour,

I awoke to my son who was trying to climb up,

With my eyes still closed I gave him a boost onto the bed

He scampered over to my pillow and plopped himself down,

I felt his tiny little hand brush my hair back from off my forehead,

Than I heard his sweet little voice whisper to me and, he asked,

“You feeling alright MaMa?”

I melted as I told him "Mommy is just fine,

Just a little sleepy from staying up for a very long time."

OK I’m sleepy too,” he answered with a cute little sigh!

I planted a kiss on his cute little nose,

as he cuddled up to me, and we drifted off to dream land!

Oh, how it's moments just like this that remind me

of how Parenting just doesn’t get any better than this!
