My father told me that his father was one of five brothers who lived in San Demetrio Corone Italy but were of Albanian decent many generations before. One brother, Guisseppi Cadicamo, was a professor of languages who came to America in 1888. My grandfather, Luigi Cadicamo, a pharmicist, came to America to visit him with his wife, Concetta Pisarra Cadicamo,1864a my grandmother, and his three children -Louis,1897, my uncle, Hennrieta , my aunt and Paul Adrian 1898, my father.
His father was Giovanni Battista Cadicamo 1799- Grandfather Francisco Cadicamo 1762 and G Grandfather Guiseppi Cadicamo
Grandfather became ill and died. The three children and my grandmother stayed in America with my Great Uncle Guiseppi,1843, who adopted the three children. I do not know what became of my Grandmother.
My father married Constance Cannizzaro and had five Children-Paul Jr,, Josephine, who died at two years, Albert and Louis twins.Louis died at birth. And Joseph who was handicapped died in his forties.
Paul Jr married Constance Dugan and had seven children-Michael, Nancy, James, Linda, Joann, Donna and Joseph
Albert (me ) married Elsie Leonard and had two children -Bryan William and Mark Alan.
Mark Cadicamo married Cindy Johnson May 5, 2001
Uncle Louis married and had two daughters- Constance and Jeannine.
Hennrieta married and had two boys -Louis and Hugo Esposito .
