It's Spring 2001 in the Morgan's Garden!

Below is the "sideyard" where Rand E. laid hundreds of bricks last summer. Now we've begun landscaping. It is fun to get ideas and then see if they work!

Above: The Dogwoods bloomed in late March. Right: The spring phlox were beautiful. I bought these last spring not knowing what color they were or when they would bloom. It was a nice surprise in early March. Below left: The geraniums are going crazy with blooms. Below right: This is our first bloom on a pink astilbe I planted last summer.

Hi Everyone! Hope you're enjoying the beauties that Spring brings your part of the world. This is probably our most colorful time. I wish these weeks would last a lot longer but, alas, those 100 degree days are not far off. On the brighter side, wonderful tomatoes, fresh blueberries and ripe peaches are their best in July and August, so that's something to look forward to!
