So you want to know a bit more about me.
Stats current as of Mar 2004

Name: Charles
Age: 38
Location: B.C. Canada
Status: Single
Family: Daughter born 84
and a Son born 85
Occupation: Receiver
This is me, in 2003

In a Nutshell:
I am a plain and simple person. I don't believe that the world owes me anything, if I want something bad enough I will work for it.
My guiding philosophies are:
1) The golden rule
2) Sometimes shit happens, so deal with it.

Interests:
Having a curious nature, my interests are varied and eclectic.
Music is near the top of the list, with my preference leaning towards the 70's - 80's rock genre.
The computer is also a main interest, having always had one. I am quite possessive('obsessive perhaps') in regards to my computer, preferring to be the administrator in the installation of both software and hardware.
Other areas of interest are psychology, current events, wood working(when access to equipment is available), digital photography, socializing in small groups.

Likes:
Top of the list in this category is having fun and making people laugh.
I like what I do for a living, working as a shipper / receiver.
I enjoy meeting and conversing with people online who share the same value system as I do. What adds to the experience is to see their picture, just to know who I am talking to.

Dislikes:
Top of the list is crowded situations, such as a shopping mall during holidays.
People that push their beliefs and religion at me.
I don't like to see people mis-treat either physically or emotionally, in particular women and children.

Other Stuff
I am a bigtime Star Trek fan, but not in the fanatical sense. In particular I am quite captivated with the most recent series Enterprise. I find that all of the series explore moral and ethical dilemma's facing society.

I am approachable, and will answer most any question posed to me honestly, at my discretion. Having nothing to hide, the information that I provide here is posted solely for those curious enough to check out my webpage.

Having a shy nature, and not wanting to seem overly pushy I rarely ask people for their email addresses. Anyone wishing to establish contact via e-mail may send a note, identifying yourself if not apparent from the email address. Please note that I am quite selective as to whom I provide my real address to. I am always open to establishing new sources for humourous materials. My email address is located at the bottom of my index page.
