God, we do love you more each day.
We want all that we do to be done your way.
Since you said to take a soul up there,
Up to your highest alter in the air,
We'll do exactly as you have said.
We'll pick them up from their bed.
We'll carry them in our arms to you.
We'll do this God, as you've told us to.
We'll ascend up to your highest alter,
With help from your angels, we'll not falter.
As we pass Heaven's gates, open wide,
We'll not pause, God to go inside.
The soul you've given us, to you, to take,
Is much too important, make no mistake.
We're here at your alter, of purple so fair,
Laying this soul on the alter with care.
We're putting them here for you to take care of,
Knowing you'll meet their needs with your love.
Now we step aside God, for you to take over,
We know dear God, in your care they'll recover.
Time has come for us to go,
Back to this earthly world we know.
Thank you God, for the priviledge to see,
Your highest alter and to praise thee.
We'll walk each day in your heavenly light,
Knowing with your love everything will be alright.

This poem was written for me when I was sick, by the
most wonderful loving friend, Mrs. Barbara Williams.
There's 2 most amazing things about this poem. First
and foremost, it was inspired by God, as you'll see
in a moment. Secondly, this warm, loving and talented
friend has never laid eyes on me, nor I her, but
somehow we knew that we were sisters in Christ. We
met here on the net a few weeks ago and along with
this poem came this email message........
I hope you're feeling better today. I have asked all
my friends to lift you up in prayer. I couldn't sleep
last night for thinking about you, so I got up and
did some more praying.I lifted you up to God's
healing alter. Here (the poem) is where God led me
last night. May God bless each moment of your day.And
may Jesus be the light for your daily walk through
life, and may God's angels walk beside you wherever
you go.
Barb, my dear sweet friend, may God bless you and
keep you near Him always. May His angels be with you
and lead you up the stairway to Heaven. Thanks for
