When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
  I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

  When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.

Pray don't find fault with the man who limps
Or stumbles along the road,
Unless you have worn the shoes he wears,
Or struggled beneath his load.
There may be tacks in his shoes that hurt,
Though hidden away from view;
Or the burden he bears placed on your back
Might cause you to stumble, too.

Don't sneer at the man who's down today,
Unless you have felt the blow
That caused his fall, or felt the shame
That only the fallen know.
You may be strong, but still the blows
That were his, if dealt to you
In the selfsame way at the selfsame time
Might cause you to stagger, too.

Don't be too harsh with the man who sins,
Or pelt him with words of stone,
Unless you are sure, yea, double sure
That you have no sins of your own;
For you know, perhaps, if the tempter's voice
Should whisper as soft to you
As it did to him, when he went astray
'Twould cause you to falter, too.

Thanks to my sister-in-Christ, KATIE

  This says it all . . .
The shortest distance between a problem and a solution   is the distance between your knees and the floor. The man who kneels to God can stand up to anything.

Do something challenging everyday for the Lord!
Sing! Let others hear your praise to God,
but also share that one on one with Him!
Treat other people's heart the way we are
taught that Jesus cares for us.
Pray for those that don't have the same
compassion for you. Do not waste your time on
jealousy. There will always be those with
more things than you....and those with less than
you---but our Lord's eye is upon the sparrow and
He has a love pure and equal for each of us!
Don't worry if you don't know where you are
going in this life--Just make sure that your
leader is Jesus Christ! Take care of your body-
It is the temple of the Holy Spirit!
Store all of your positive memories for easy
recovery in your thoughts! Forget about the
negative- ask the Lord for forgiveness of
your sins, and leave them at the cross!
Enjoy all that God has given you. Your own body
is the greatest gift that you have ever been
given. Be thankful for every breath!
Treat your parents and family special.
They are your own real love link between
earth and eternity... God places special
friends in your life-some for a short while
and others, longer--- Don't question when
they go away-just treasure the impact they
made on you while they were present!
There is no real death for a Christian.
To die is gain. I'm not afraid to die.
Because I think that it is just the beginning.
There is a neat story about a man who went
to the doctor and the doctor told him,
"I'm sorry but I think you are going to
die soon!" The man said, "Don't worry about
it, that is what I have been living for!"
The end is only the beginning!
We go to be with Jesus, there is no
reason to be afraid. Pray more...
Listen to less people's advice...
Talk as God leads you and be willing to
always have an open heart to a hurting soul.
Jesus makes life worth living!
