Hi! See the room with the spiral stairway? It is my dream place. I've always wanted one, and if I had a chance to have a home built from scratch, I would like it to have one. Yes, and of course it leads to a loft, and I've always wanted one, too. I'd like to be able to look out from the inner balcony and down the living area or gathering space .   You guessed it! I wanted the living area to have a pretty high ceiling, with a skylight. What more would I want? A music room with a nice stereo system, with speakers strategically placed, where I could play the music my family, friends, and I can enjoy. Maybe a little atrium, where I could have nice plants and a tiny waterfall. There would be lots of comfortable chairs and cushions, and huge picture windows, where anyone can look out into nice water views perhaps, or into a little garden.

(August 20, 2003 Update) I still don't have my dream house as described above, but I'm working at it. We are renovating our home, and the loft could be a year away.
