1. Andrew Montgomery¹ Tutt was born Culpper County, Virginia July 20, 1816.

He married Annie Royston Henry County, Missouri, Jan. 3, 1843. Annie was born Caroline County, Virginia Nov. 29, 1821. Annie was the daughter of Thomas W. Royston and Susannah Fitzhugh Thornton. Annie died July 5, 1873 Henry County, Missouri, at 51 years of age. At 22 years of age Annie became the mother of Henry Clay Tutt May 2, 1844. At 24 years of age Annie became the mother of Montgomery Royston Tutt Clinton, Missouri, April 15, 1846. Annie became the mother of Susan Fitzhugh Tutt abt. 1848. Annie became the mother of Mary Rose Tutt abt. 1849. Annie became the mother of Ada Churchill Tutt abt. 1851. At 32 years of age Annie became the mother of Belle Darling Tutt Henry County, Missouri, Feb. 24, 1854. At 34 years of age Annie became the mother of Archie Tutt Henry County, Missouri, May 28, 1856. At 36 years of age Annie became the mother of May Tutt Henry County, Missouri, May 12, 1858.

At 27 years of age Andrew became the father of Henry Clay Tutt May 2, 1844. At 29 years of age Andrew became the father of Montgomery Royston Tutt Clinton, Missouri, April 15, 1846. Andrew became the father of Susan Fitzhugh Tutt abt. 1848. Andrew became the father of Mary Rose Tutt abt. 1849. Andrew became the father of Ada Churchill Tutt abt. 1851. At 37 years of age Andrew became the father of Belle Darling Tutt Henry County, Missouri, Feb. 24, 1854. At 39 years of age Andrew became the father of Archie Tutt Henry County, Missouri, May 28, 1856. At 41 years of age Andrew became the father of May Tutt Henry County, Missouri, May 12, 1858.

Andrew Montgomery Tutt and Annie Royston had the following children:
