He married Sally Anne Watson abt. 1877. Sally was born Feb. 3, 1853. Sally was the daughter of Mortten Watson and Rachel C. Harris. Sally died Jan. 13, 1917 Denison, Grayson County, Texas, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred aft. Jan. 13, 1917 Denison, Grayson County, Texas, Cherry Mound Cemetery. Sally became the mother of John Morton Sommerville Denison, Grayson County, Texas, abt. 1872. At 22 years of age Sally became the mother of James L. Sommerville Texas, April 11, 1875. At 23 years of age Sally became the mother of Maggie E. Sommerville Texas, Oct. 19, 1876. At 29 years of age Sally became the mother of Carrie L. Williams Jan. 28, 1883.

At 42 years of age James became the father of Carrie L. Williams Jan. 28, 1883.

James T. Williams and Sally Anne Watson had the following children:

7 vi. Carrie L. Williams was born Jan. 28, 1883. Carrie died June 25, 1947 Bells, Grayson County, Texas, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred aft. June 25, 1947 Bells, Grayson County, Texas, Rosehill Cemetery. She married Thomas Hailey Ramsey Grayson County, Texas, March 29, 1906. Thomas was born Grayson County, Texas July 11, 1876. Thomas was the son of John Ziegler Ramsey and Judieth Edwards "Jude" Gilbert. Thomas died May 23, 1943 Grayson County, Texas, at 66 years of age. His body was interred aft. May 23, 1943 Bells, Grayson County, Cemetery, Rosehill Cemetery. At 32 years of age Thomas became the father of Thomas Wayne Ramsey March 23, 1909. At 36 years of age Thomas became the father of Morris Gilbert Ramsey Ambrose, Grayson County, Texas, June 28, 1913. (See Thomas Hailey Ramsey for the continuation of this line.)
