He married Nelly Alice Springsteel. Nelly was born Boulder County, Colorado Jan. 1, 1916. Nelly was the daughter of Walter Springsteel and Emma Catherine Truitt. Nelly died April 6, 1985 Coos Bay, Oregon, at 69 years of age. Nelly became the mother of Robert Wood St. Maries, Idaho. Nelly became the mother of Roy Wood Idaho. At 13 years of age Nelly became the mother of Ruth "Tussie" A. Wood Colorado, April 14, 1929.

Clarence became the father of Robert Wood St. Maries, Idaho. Clarence became the father of Roy Wood Idaho. At 14 years of age Clarence became the father of Ruth "Tussie" A. Wood Colorado, April 14, 1929.

Clarence Alden Wood and Nelly Alice Springsteel had the following children:

3 ii. Robert Wood was born St. Maries, Idaho.

4 iii. Roy Wood was born Idaho.

5 iv. Reita Wood. She married Unknown Pichette Myrtle Point, Oregon.

6 v. Ruth "Tussie" A. Wood was born Colorado April 14, 1929. Ruth died Feb. 15, 2004 at 74 years of age. She married Unknown Steel Wheatland, California.
