1. Joseph Bledsoe¹ Thorn was born Eureka Springs, Arkansas Dec. 30, 1892. Joseph died Nov. 13, 1976 Whitesboro, Texas, at 83 years of age.

He married Maude Aleene Savage Sherman, Texas, May 18, 1916. Maude was born Whitewright, Texas July 27, 1894. Maude was the daughter of Charles Edward Savage and Flora Belle Payne. Maude died Jan. 29, 1977 Sherman, Texas, at 82 years of age. At 22 years of age Maude became the mother of Joseph William Thorn Sherman, Texas, May 19, 1917. At 31 years of age Maude became the mother of Thomas Payne Thorn Delaware Bend, Texas, Dec. 30, 1925.

At 24 years of age Joseph became the father of Joseph William Thorn Sherman, Texas, May 19, 1917. At 33 years of age Joseph became the father of Thomas Payne Thorn Delaware Bend, Texas, Dec. 30, 1925.

Joseph Bledsoe Thorn and Maude Aleene Savage had the following children:

2 i. Joseph William² Thorn⁽³¹⁹⁾ was born Sherman, Texas May 19, 1917. Joseph died Oct. 29, 1952 Ft. Worth, Texas, at 35 years of age. He married Unknown Dick.

3 ii. Thomas Payne Thorn⁽³²⁰⁾ was born Delaware Bend, Texas Dec. 30, 1925. Thomas died Sept. 28, 1990 Galveston, Texas, at 64 years of age. He married twice. He married Unknown McLane. He married Unknown Walsh.
