1. Richard Franklin¹ Sherwood was born St. Augustine Sept. 22, 1929. Richard died March 30, 1991 at 61 years of age. His body was interred aft. March 30, 1991 Lewistown, Illinois, Providence Cemetery.

He married Barbara JoAnn DeMott June 6, 1953. Barbara was born Abingdon, Illinois July 8, 1935. Barbara was the daughter of Charles Lenard DeMott and Jessie Helen McCullough. At 18 years of age Barbara became the mother of Paula Beth Sherwood Canton, Illinois, April 21, 1954. At 22 years of age Barbara became the mother of Kathy Lynn Sherwood Canton, Illinois, Aug. 13, 1957.

At 24 years of age Richard became the father of Paula Beth Sherwood Canton, Illinois, April 21, 1954. At 27 years of age Richard became the father of Kathy Lynn Sherwood Canton, Illinois, Aug. 13, 1957.

Richard Franklin Sherwood and Barbara JoAnn DeMott had the following children:

2 i. Paula Beth² Sherwood was born Canton, Illinois April 21, 1954. She married Michael Gene Stahl Canton, Illinois, Feb. 10, 1979. Michael was born Canton, Illinois Dec. 29, 1949. At 30 years of age Michael became the father of Matthew Richard Stahl Feb. 22, 1980. At 34 years of age Michael became the father of Ashley Elizabeth Stahl June 8, 1984. At 25 years of age Paula became the mother of Matthew Richard Stahl Feb. 22, 1980. At 30 years of age Paula became the mother of Ashley Elizabeth Stahl June 8, 1984.

3 ii. Kathy Lynn Sherwood was born Canton, Illinois Aug. 13, 1957. She married David Dean Rhodes Lewistown, Illinois, Feb. 21, 1976. David was born Lewistown, Illinois March 10, 1954. At 22 years of age David became the father of Jessica Ann Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Dec. 2, 1976. At 25 years of age David became the father of Joseph Allen Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Aug. 29, 1979. At 26 years of age David became the father of Jodelle Beth Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Oct. 16, 1980. (See David Dean Rhodes for the continuation of this line.)

At 19 years of age Kathy became the mother of Jessica Ann Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Dec. 2, 1976. At 22 years of age Kathy became the mother of Joseph Allen Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Aug. 29, 1979. At 23 years of age Kathy became the mother of Jodelle Beth Rhodes Canton, Illinois, Oct. 16, 1980.
