1. John¹ Starbird was born abt. 1763.

He married Hannah Stroud Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, June 8, 1783. Hannah was born Northampton County, Pennsylvania Oct. 10, 1763. Hannah was the daughter of Col. Jacob Stroud and Elizabeth McDowell. Hannah died May 8, 1845 Accident, at 81 years of age. At 20 years of age Hannah became the mother of Jacob Starbird Aug. 11, 1784. At 22 years of age Hannah became the mother of John Starbird July 31, 1786. At 25 years of age Hannah became the mother of Elizabeth Starbird Dec. 15, 1788. At 34 years of age Hannah became the mother of William Starbird March 27, 1798. At 36 years of age Hannah became the mother of Daniel Starbird May 2, 1800. At 40 years of age Hannah became the mother of Peter Starbird Nov. 15, 1803. At 43 years of age Hannah became the mother of Franklin Starbird March 28, 1807.

At 21 years of age John became the father of Jacob Starbird Aug. 11, 1784. At 23 years of age John became the father of John Starbird July 31, 1786. At 25 years of age John became the father of Elizabeth Starbird Dec. 15, 1788. At 34 years of age John became the father of William Starbird March 27, 1798. At 36 years of age John became the father of Daniel Starbird May 2, 1800. At 40 years of age John became the father of Peter Starbird Nov. 15, 1803. At 43 years of age John became the father of Franklin Starbird March 28, 1807.

John Starbird and Hannah Stroud had the following children:

4 iii. Elizabeth Starbird was born Dec. 15, 1788.

5 iv. William Starbird was born March 27, 1798.

8 vii. Franklin Starbird was born March 28, 1807.
