He married LaDonna Jean Meats Westphalia, Kansas, May 21, 1988. LaDonna was born Emporia, Kansas July 19, 1966. LaDonna is the daughter of Donald Sharon Meats and Catherine "Katie" Amelia Bartlett. At 24 years of age LaDonna became the mother of Nathan Jeffrey True Emporia, Kansas, April 4, 1991. At 27 years of age LaDonna became the mother of Ryan Christopher True Emporia, Kansas, Aug. 3, 1993. At 29 years of age LaDonna became the mother of Aaron Michael True Emporia, Kansas, Nov. 7, 1995.

At 23 years of age Jeffrey became the father of Nathan Jeffrey True Emporia, Kansas, April 4, 1991. At 26 years of age Jeffrey became the father of Ryan Christopher True Emporia, Kansas, Aug. 3, 1993. At 28 years of age Jeffrey became the father of Aaron Michael True Emporia, Kansas, Nov. 7, 1995.
