He married Mary E. Fleming. Mary was born Aug. 2, 1893. Mary was the daughter of William A. Fleming and Lucy L. Ramsey. Mary died Jan. 29, 1967 at 73 years of age. Her body was interred aft. Jan. 29, 1967 Fannin County, Texas, Virginia Point Cemetery.

Ernest G. Keeling and Mary E. Fleming had the following children:
