2 i. Sciota J.² McGahey was born Cameron, Illinois April 4, 1841. Sciota died April 5, 1922 Rock Island, Illinois, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred aft. April 5, 1922 Cameron, Illinois, Silent Home Cemetery. She married Silas Giddings Warren County, Illinois, Dec. 25, 1860. Silas was born Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania Feb. 25, 1839. Silas was the son of Moses Cornwall Giddings and Sophia Stafford. Silas died Nov. 11, 1887 Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at 48 years of age. His body was interred aft. Nov. 11, 1887 Cameron, Illinois, Silent Home Cemetery. Silas became the father of Jessie Giddings Warren County, Illinois, abt. 1861. (See Silas Giddings for the continuation of this line.)

Sciota became the mother of Jessie Giddings Warren County, Illinois, abt. 1861.
