He married Sarah Ann Johnson Pool Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, Dec. 9, 1843. Sarah was born Warren County, Kentucky Oct. 17, 1824. Sarah was the daughter of John Henry Pool and Temperance G. "Tempe" Lomax. Sarah died April 12, 1897 Iowa, at 72 years of age. Her body was interred aft. April 12, 1897 Union County, Iowa, Beulah Cemetery. At 20 years of age Sarah became the mother of America Ann Marr Knox County, Illinois, June 18, 1845. At 22 years of age Sarah became the mother of Temperance Elizabeth Marr Warren County, Illinois, April 8, 1847. At 25 years of age Sarah became the mother of Mary Jane Marr Warren County, Illinois, March 13, 1850.
At 27 years of age John became the father of America Ann Marr Knox County, Illinois, June 18, 1845. At 28 years of age John became the father of Temperance Elizabeth Marr Warren County, Illinois, April 8, 1847. At 31 years of age John became the father of Mary Jane Marr Warren County, Illinois, March 13, 1850.

Illinois, Oct. 27, 1863. William was born Claremont County, Ohio April 23, 1842. William(172) was the son of Cornelius Sirus Newkirk and Mary Elizabeth
Lackey. William died April 12, 1895 Jones Township, Union County, Iowa, at 52 years of age. At 24 years of age William
became the father of James Cornelius Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, Jan. 9, 1867. At 26 years of age William
became the father of Cora Alice Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, Jan. 31, 1869. At 29 years of age William
became the father of Olla Belle Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, Sept. 1, 1871. At 33 years of age William
became the father of Leon Lewis Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, Jan. 9, 1876. At 35 years of age William became
the father of Sgt. Charles Henry Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, illinois, Jan. 10, 1878. At 42 years of age William
became the father of William Francis Newkirk Abingdon, Knox County, Illinois, July 4, 1884. At 44 years of age William

Cornelius Sirus Newkirk and Mary Elizabeth Lackey. John died Oct. 12, 1899 Talmage, Union County, Iowa, at 63
years of age. His body was interred aft. Oct. 12, 1899 Union County, Iowa, Beulah Cemetery. At 35 years of age John
became the father of Stonewall Jackson Newkirk Warren County, Illinois, Sept. 7, 1871. At 39 years of age John became

Union County, Iowa, at 60 years of age. She married twice. She married John M. Hale Sangamon
County, Illinois, March 27, 1864. She married Derias Coler Wilber Afton, Union County, Iowa,
Sept. 20, 1869. Derias was born Cataraugus, New Yoek abt. 1848. Derias was the son of Freeman Wilber and Harriet
Hitchcock. Derias died June 10, 1926 Creston, Union County, Iowa, at 77 years of age. His body was interred aft. June
10, 1926 Union County, Kansas, Beulah Cemetery. At 22 years of age Derias became the father of Orlando Eldon Wilber
Warren County, Illinois, Sept. 3, 1870. At 25 years of age Derias became the father of Clarence Marshall Wilber Warren
County, Illinois, Oct. 28, 1873. At 28 years of age Derias became the father of John Wesley Wilber Abingdon, Knox
County, Illinois, Oct. 18, 1876. At 31 years of age Derias became the father of Harriet Ann Wilber Nov. 27, 1879. At 34
