First Generation

1. Robert1 Grandy was born Roxbury, Middlesex County, Maryland 1650.

He married Mary Parker Roxbury, Middlesex County, Maryland. Mary was born Lancaster, Worcester County, Maryland Aug. 28, 1654. Mary was the daughter of Edmund Parker and Elizabeth Howe. At 21 years of age Mary became the mother of Mercy Grandy Roxbury, Maryland, Nov. 23, 1675. At 24 years of age Mary became the mother of Elizabeth Grandy Feb. 27, 1678/1679. At 26 years of age Mary became the mother of John Grandy Jan. 13, 1680/1681. At 28 years of age Mary became the mother of Robert Grandy Jr. July 12, 1683. At 30 years of age Mary became the mother of Edmund Grandy Roxbury, Middlesex County, Maryland, April 21, 1685. At 31 years of age Mary became the mother of Rebecca Grandy Roxbury, Maryland, Nov. 30, 1685.

At 25 years of age Robert became the father of Mercy Grandy Roxbury, Maryland, Nov. 23, 1675. At 28 years of age Robert became the father of Elizabeth Grandy Feb. 27, 1678/1679. At 30 years of age Robert became the father of John Grandy Jan. 13, 1680/1681. At 33 years of age Robert became the father of Robert Grandy Jr. July 12, 1683. At 34 years of age Robert became the father of Edmund Grandy Roxbury, Middlesex County, Maryland, April 21, 1685. At 35 years of age Robert became the father of Rebecca Grandy Roxbury, Maryland, Nov. 30, 1685.

Robert Grandy and Mary Parker had the following children:

child 2 i. Mercy2 Grandy was born Roxbury, Maryland Nov. 23, 1675. Mercy died Oct. 27, 1745 at 69 years of age. She married Jacob Sager April 14, 1709.

child 3 ii. Elizabeth Grandy was born Feb. 27, 1678/1679. She married Daniel Woodward Newton, Maryland, Jan. 27, 1703/1704.

child 4 iii. John Grandy was born Jan. 13, 1680/1681.

child 5 iv. Robert Grandy Jr. was born July 12, 1683. He married Eliner Waters Feb. 1, 1706/1707.

child + 6 v. Edmund Grandy was born April 21, 1685.

child 7 vi. Rebecca Grandy was born Roxbury, Maryland Nov. 30, 1685. She married Samuel Robbins Cambridge, Maryland, Dec. 26, 1706. Samuel was born abt. 1685.
