He married Grace Scott. Grace became the mother of William Hollinshead I June 18, 1669. Grace became the mother of Robert Hollinshead 1671. Grace became the mother of John Hollinshead II Nov. 12, 1673. Grace became the mother of Hugh Hollinshead Feb. 9, 1675. Grace became the mother of Charles Hollinshead Sept. 25, 1677. Grace became the mother of N. N. Hollinshead July 14, 1678.

At 23 years of age John became the father of William Hollinshead I June 18, 1669. At 26 years of age John became the father of Robert Hollinshead 1671. At 28 years of age John became the father of John Hollinshead II Nov. 12, 1673. At 29 years of age John became the father of Hugh Hollinshead Feb. 9, 1675. At 32 years of age John became the father of Charles Hollinshead Sept. 25, 1677. At 33 years of age John became the father of N. N. Hollinshead July 14, 1678.

John Hollinshead I and Grace Scott had the following children:

3 ii. Robert Hollinshead was born 1671.

4 iii. John Hollinshead II was born Nov. 12, 1673. John died 1749 at 75 years of age.

5 iv. Hugh Hollinshead was born Feb. 9, 1675. Hugh died June 28, 1677 at 2 years of age.

6 v. Charles Hollinshead was born Sept. 25, 1677. Charles died Oct. 7, 1677 at less than one year of age.

7 vi. N. N. Hollinshead was born July 14, 1678. N. died July 14, 1678 at less than one year of age.
