He married Mary Carlisle New Jersey, abt. 1696. Mary was born England July 20, 1674. Mary was the daughter of John Carlisle and Mary Goodwin. Mary died Dec. 17, 1744 at 70 years of age. Mary became the mother of Richard Haines Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, abt. 1698.

He was christened Aynhoe, Northamptonshire, England, Aug. 6, 1665. Richard became the father of Richard Haines Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, abt. 1698.

Richard Haines and Mary Carlisle had the following children:
