He married Annette L. Predmore Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa, May 20, 1939. Annette was born Lawnridge, Marshall County, Illinois Jan. 1, 1905. Annette was the daughter of William Henry Enoch Predmore and Leah Nora Wilson. Annette died June 1978 Edelstein, Peoria County, Illinois. Her body was interred June 1978 Edelsein, Peoria County, Illinois, Blueridge Cemetery. Annette became the mother of Daralene Francis Cave Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa, Dec. 20, 1927.

Harold M. Holt and Annette L. Predmore had the following child:
