At 34 years of age John became the father of Luther O. Lomax Warren County, Illinois, ca. 1846. At 37 years of age John became the father of Washington Lomax Warren County, Illinois, 1849. At 46 years of age John became the father of James Aurelius Lomax Knoxville, Knox County, Illinois, Dec. 18, 1858. At 48 years of age John became the father of Achelaus Lomax Knox County, Illinois, July 1860. At 52 years of age John became the father of Arabell J. Lomax Knox County, Illinois, ca. 1864.
