He married Ann Smith South Carolina, bef. 1821. Ann was born South Carolina 1802. Ann was the daughter of William Smith and Unknown Stanley. Ann became the mother of James L. Evans South Carolina, abt. 1825. Ann became the mother of Eli W. Evans South Carolina, abt. 1828. Ann became the mother of Jane Evans South Carolina, abt. 1832. Ann became the mother of Lewis Evans Alabama, abt. 1833. Ann became the mother of Frazier Evans Mississippi, abt. 1836. At 36 years of age Ann became the mother of Maxwell Evans 1838. Ann became the mother of David Evans Mississippi, abt. 1839. Ann became the mother of Josephine Evans Mississippi, abt. 1842. Ann became the mother of George Evans Mississippi, abt. 1845. Ann became the mother of Zachariah Taylor Evans Mississippi, abt. 1847.

Robert became the father of James L. Evans South Carolina, abt. 1825. Robert became the father of Eli W. Evans South Carolina, abt. 1828. Robert became the father of Jane Evans South Carolina, abt. 1832. Robert became the father of Lewis Evans Alabama, abt. 1833. Robert became the father of Frazier Evans Mississippi, abt. 1836. At 41 years of age Robert became the father of Maxwell Evans 1838. Robert became the father of David Evans Mississippi, abt. 1839. Robert became the father of Josephine Evans Mississippi, abt. 1842. Robert became the father of George Evans Mississippi, abt. 1845. Robert became the father of Zachariah Taylor Evans Mississippi, abt. 1847.

Robert Evans and Ann Smith had the following children:

3 ii. Eli W. Evans was born South Carolina abt. 1828. He married Martha J. Bray aft. 1856. Martha was born Mississippi 1835. Martha was the daughter of Greenville M. Bray and Lavinia Lucinda Smith. Martha died May 1869 Chickasaw County, Mississippi, at 33 years of age.

4 iii. Jane Evans was born South Carolina abt. 1832.

5 iv. Lewis Evans was born Alabama abt. 1833.

6 v. Frazier Evans was born Mississippi abt. 1836.

7 vi. Maxwell Evans was born 1838.

8 vii. David Evans was born Mississippi abt. 1839.

9 viii. Josephine Evans was born Mississippi abt. 1842.

10 ix. George Evans was born Mississippi abt. 1845.

11 x. Zachariah Taylor Evans was born Mississippi abt. 1847.
