2 i. Elizabeth² Daugherty was born Guilford, North Carolina Feb. 2, 1793. Elizabeth died 1846 Salem, Henry County, Iowa, at 53 years of age. She married Zachariah Hodgson Guilford, North Carolina, Feb. 2, 1811. Zachariah was born 1788. Zachariah was the son of George Hodgson and Rachel Oldham. Zachariah died 1843 at 55 years of age. At 24 years of age Zachariah became the father of William Franklin Hodgson Guilford, North Carolina, Nov. 29, 1812. At 27 years of age Zachariah became the father of George Hodgson 1815. At 33 years of age Zachariah became the father of Rachel Hodgson Sept. 14, 1821. At 36 years of age Zachariah became the father of Mary Hodgson July 6, 1824. At 41 years of age Zachariah became the father of James Hodgson 1829. (See Zachariah Hodgson for the continuation of this line.)

At 19 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of William Franklin Hodgson Guilford, North Carolina, Nov. 29, 1812. At 22 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of George Hodgson 1815. At 28 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Rachel Hodgson Sept. 14, 1821. At 31 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Mary Hodgson July 6, 1824. At 36 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of James Hodgson 1829.
