1. Henry¹ Adams was born Barton-St. David, Somerset, England Jan. 21, 1582/1583. Henry died Oct. 6, 1646 Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at 63 years of age.

He married Edith Squires Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, abt. 1642. Edith was born Charleton Mackrell, Somerset, England May 29, 1587. Edith was the daughter of Henry Squires and Charlotte Mackrell. Edith died Jan. 21, 1672/1673 Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at 85 years of age. At 24 years of age Edith became the mother of Thomas Adams Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England, March 25, 1612.

At 29 years of age Henry became the father of Thomas Adams Barton St. David, Somersetshire, England, March 25, 1612.

Henry Adams and Edith Squires had the following child:
