1. Charles Crillon¹ Barton was born Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Aug. 28, 1812. Charles died Aug. 28, 1851 Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, at 39 years of age.

He married Anna H. Hollinshead Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, Feb. 2, 1835. Anna was born Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Jan. 16, 1817. Anna was the daughter of Hugh French Hollinshead and Martha Mickle. At 21 years of age Anna became the mother of Martha Crillon Barton Feb. 7, 1838. At 22 years of age Anna became the mother of Ellen Hollingshead Barton Sept. 18, 1839. At 24 years of age Anna became the mother of Anna Barton 1841.

At 25 years of age Charles became the father of Martha Crillon Barton Feb. 7, 1838. At 27 years of age Charles became the father of Ellen Hollingshead Barton Sept. 18, 1839. At 28 years of age Charles became the father of Anna Barton 1841.

Charles Crillon Barton and Anna H. Hollinshead had the following children:

2 i. Martha Crillon² Barton was born Feb. 7, 1838.

3 ii. Ellen Hollingshead Barton was born Sept. 18, 1839.

4 iii. Anna Barton was born 1841.
