1. John D.¹ Brecount was born Hamilton County, Ohio April 16, 1827.

He married Esther A. White Champaign County, Ohio, March 27, 1847. Esther was born Pennsylvania March 26, 1828. Esther was the daughter of George White and Mary Jones Anderson. Esther died 1885 at 57 years of age. At 21 years of age Esther became the mother of George W. Brecount Lena, Ohio, Jan. 3, 1850. Esther became the mother of Asa Scott Brecount Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio, abt. 1851. At 29 years of age Esther became the mother of Edward A. "Edgar" Brecount Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio, April 1, 1857.

At 22 years of age John became the father of George W. Brecount Lena, Ohio, Jan. 3, 1850. John became the father of Asa Scott Brecount Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio, abt. 1851. At 29 years of age John became the father of Edward A. "Edgar" Brecount Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio, April 1, 1857.

John D. Brecount and Esther A. White had the following children:

+ 2 i. George W.² Brecount was born Jan. 3, 1850.

+ 3 ii. Asa Scott Brecount was born abt. 1851.

4 iii. Edward A. "Edgar" Brecount was born Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio April 1, 1857. Edward died March 28, 1903 at 45 years of age. He married Olivia Search abt. 1874.
