1. Thomas¹ Beans was born Southampton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania Oct. 3, 1744. Thomas died Jan. 23, 1828.

He married Elizabeth Hollinshead Nov. 25, 1772. Elizabeth was born Aug. 2, 1726. Elizabeth was the daughter of Daniel Hollinshead and Thomasin Hasil. At 63 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Elijah Banes Southampton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 1790.

At 45 years of age Thomas became the father of Elijah Banes Southampton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 1790.

Thomas Beans and Elizabeth Hollinshead had the following children:

2 i. John² Beans.

3 ii. Thomas P. Banes. He married Ann Dennis.

4 iii. Elizabeth Banes. She married Elias Yerkes.

5 iv. Sarah Banes. She married Thomas B. Worthington.

+ 6 v. Elijah Banes was born 1790.
