2 i. Rebecca Caroline² Butterfield was born Brown Township, Miami County, Ohio April 26, 1837. Rebecca died Feb. 10, 1913 Warren County, Illinois, at 75 years of age. She married Benjamin Pool Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, June 15, 1860. Benjamin was born Martinsville, Warren County, Kentucky May 8, 1838. Benjamin was the son of John Henry Pool and Temperance G. "Tempe" Lomax. Benjamin died Oct. 26, 1920 Cedar Township, Knox County, Illinois, at 82 years of age. At 22 years of age Benjamin became the father of Eliza Jane Pool April 18, 1861. At 26 years of age Benjamin became the father of Sarah Elizabeth Pool 1864. At 27 years of age Benjamin became the father of John Washington Pool 1865. At 28 years of age Benjamin became the father of Amy Emmaline Pool 1866. At 30 years of age Benjamin became the father of George Emerson Pool Ohio, July 16, 1868. At 33 years of age Benjamin became the father of Alfred Arthur Pool Nov. 3, 1871. At 37 years of age Benjamin became the father of Milton Perry Pool Oct. 25, 1875. At 39 years of age Benjamin became the father of Benjamin Ira Pool Cedar Township, Knox County, Illinois, March 16, 1878. (See Benjamin Pool for the continuation of this line.)
