Tina and I went on holiday to England and Wales in October.  This is Warwick castle, a beautifuly preserved OLD castle.
Date on the tower door shows how old this tower is.
The tower was riddled with spiral stairs. Every thing you would expect from an old castle.
Great view from the top of the tower.  This is the cathedral in Warwick.
This narrow street in Warwick was just too charming to not take a picture.
Tina and I stayed with dear friends Stuart and Mee-Yan Judge (and family) in Oxford over the weekend. This is Stuart and Lee after Saturday breakfast. The Judge's have an artist in the family as evidenced by the artwork behind Stuart. Shame on me - I have no pictures of the rest of the Judge family! Mee-Yan, Ruth and Rebecka.
The Judges live at the very end of a charming narrow little lane.
Stuart took Tina and I on a tour of Oxford. This is at St. Anne's college. The student Stuart and Tina are talking to is wearing a gown for the matriculation ceremonies.
Stuart and Tina in front of Radcliffe Camera.
Sunday after church, Stuart took us on a tour of the country. Here is Stuart and Lee taken during a stroll in the Blenham palace gardens.
Sunday afternoon tea at an inn in Burford. The town was incredibly quaint little English village. The inn was as dark as it looks, but the fire was quite cheery once Stuart got it going and the tea and scones were delicious.
From Oxford Tina and I went to Wales, all the way to the very tip of the Pembrokshire peninsula. This is a view from the Lion Rock bed and breakfast in Broadhaven looking out of the door of "our" sunroom.
Narrow road! This is the road from Broadhaven to Littlehaven. Don't suppose these road ever get really busy.
Tina at the entrance to the Skomer Island nature preserve. The little blue boat in the harbor ferries people to Skomer Island. It wasn't running this time of year. The house was a nature center display of the preserve's attractions.

These are the "wild" ponies on the preserve.
That is Skomer Island in the background.
Mother and baby seal in one of the coves. Actually there are 3 pairs of mother and baby seals. It looked like it was painful for the mother and baby seals to move about on the rocky beach.
Had to take a picture of the wind! It was amazing on the south side of the peninsula. It was so strong that it made walking difficult, but we thought it was better to have it blowing us away from the cliff than towards the edge!
Windsurfers at Dale beach. This was a sheltered cove, still had plenty of wind, but the waves were much tamer. Of course they all were wearing wet suits.
Pentra Ifan buiarial chamber, or what is left of it. Notice the sea in the background.
