I am looking for information regarding a procedure called a tendonectomy for cats. It is supposed to be a humane alternative to de-clawing. I have tried for 3 years unsuccessfully to train my cats not to claw. However, I cannot hurt them by de-clawing

I'm trying to find "detailed" info on blood draws for glucose monitoring on pets at home. We have 2 diabetic pets and 1 is still not controlled on insulin. Our vet recommends ear/paw pad stick for getting sample but this is not working as vein is too sma
l to work with before she gets restless & paw pads are just to tough. We would greatly appreciate any recommendations? There is only info on net for cat glucose checks which work fine on my cat but not the dog. There are so many diabetic pet owners who do
home glucose testing so I can't believe that this info isn't listed somewhere on the net. Reasonable instructions to help this process go smoothly would be greatly received by those of us who sometimes run into a problem with the usual techniques. Also t
e expense of taking your pet in to the office for the day to do glucose curves can be so expensive that some people just can't afford to keep their pets therefore avoiding further medical problems.
Urine testing is just not detailed enough in our case and is not helping to find the problem with getting her diabetes regulated. We would appreciate any info or suggestions you might have so we can get our little girl feeling better quicker.

I'm trying to locate detailed information on canine & feline diabetes, cataracts and cataract extraction surgery. I have an 11 yr. old Queensland Heeler recently diagnosed with diabetes. We are still working on finding her appropriate insulin doseage. NP
