Kali's sire has interesting horses in his pedigree. His sire, PVA Imperiali, is a son by Ruminaja Ali-a wonderful grey producer. Through Ruminaja Ali one can find Shaikh Al Badi and Bint Magidaa in Kali's pedigree. Bint Magidaa is a daughter out of the famous *Magida-a lovely broodmare.
Furthermore, we have Shams el Ibsaya who is the paternal granddam of Kali. Shams el Ibsaya is out of exclusive German bloodlines which are very rare in USA. This mare is by Ibrahim-a very important German sire. Ibrahim (Mahomed x Mahiba) is a half-brother to Mohamed (Mahomed x *Foze) who was standing at Moritzberg Stud in Germany. Mohamed died in 1996. Ibrahim's grandsire is *Hadban Enzahi, an Egyptian sire who was main producer at Marbach/Germany in the 50's and 60's. The granddam of Ibrahim is Malikah-a *Ghazal-daughter. *Ghazal, as well as *Hadban Enzahi and *Kaisoon had a great influence in the German breeding program.
If one takes a look at the maternal line of Kali's pedigree, one can find the U.S. National Champion *El Paso-a Polish bred stallion by Czort, imported to USA. *El Paso is out of Ellora (by Witraz). This stallion's dam line goes back to Woloszka, a mare bred by the famous Slawuta Stud/Poland. This farm produced Arabians which had great influence in the Polish breeding program.
Kali is no spectacular show horse or broodmare but she is a special horses with a special charisma. Everyone who looks into her wonderful eyes and meets her, loves her.
