This is our Friendship Stick poem
This little stick means "Friendship" of a very special kind. A friend you know is really great and very hard to find.
Front of Stick:
GREEN CAP=For Girl Scout
YELLOW HAIR=Sunlight
BLUE EYE=For all light-eyed people of the world
BROWN EYE=For all dark-eyed people of the world
NOSE=Strength and Courage
MOUTH=Truth and Honesty
THE CROSS=Shows all races come together to work for peace
GREEN=Represents Hope and Friendship
WHITE,BROWN,YELLOW,RED=Represents faith in your religion, yourself, your fellowman, your Girl Scout Promise and Law
SPLIT HEART=Gold for old friends and Silver for new friends
BLUE=Charity and Understanding
Back of Stick:
We sign our name on the back of this friendship stick through considerate and caring thought to remind you of a friendship that will never be forgotten!
The girls did a wonderful job at their Girl Scout Expo ! At their booth they made friendship sticks and did a wonderful job!
Their booth description was "Come with us and pick the right path - together we can make the World a better place ":-)
At Little Theater they did a presentation of the Brady Bunch song which turned into the Brownie Bunch Song and had a prerecorded tape they recorded to sing to !
The girls now earned their Expo segment which they can wear on the back of their Vest.
The Girls also received the "Best Friendship Craft" Award and an "Outstanding Performance" Award.
