Do you like meerkats?
There is a lonely little meerkat sitting in a Los Angels Zoo.
The poor little creature is alone.
Meerkats are a family animal,
they need the closness of other meerkats to survive.
For a zoo to totally deny their animals this basic need
is inhumane.
They, above all, should know better.
This is not all. They are feeding him dog food.
Dog food is to poor in the protein he needs to be healthy.

The tiny cages that cats and dogs are forced into.
Sick and dieing animals are stacked together.
There is nothing humane about this.
The cats are left without food or water
untill they die from dehydration and starvation.
It is extremely crule and heartless.

It's been several years sense the horror at the Noahs Ark pet shelter, and poor Olivia was horribly burned. The boys who murdered those helpless animals are free and living their lives. The animal shelter has moved to a different place. But the banner will always be here to remeind us that there are monsters amoung us, and that society has to grow. As the dominent species on this planet it is up to us to take care of the lesser animals we have taken to our hearts. Not all societies have grown in the same way as the liberated Americans and Europeans. We can only hope that soon the others will rise in their conscious and realize that not all animals are food.

If you see or know of any animal abuse in your area let the police or animal control know. You don'thave to leave your name. If someone in your community has been arrested for criminal animal abuse, notify the agency below. They have the resources to get the most severe punishment possible.

In a firm but polite manner let them know that you want the laws and penalties for animal abuse tightened. Your letter represents how you will vote in the future. Remind them that for every letter they receive from a voter there are a hundred voters who did not write but are watching their responses to this issue.
