My name is Terry Richardson. I'm 38 years old. I am a cowboy. I'm 5'11",
230 pounds, red hair. I love to hunt and fish. I "LOVE" to be outdoors
taking care of my yard and cooking on the pit. I live on 40 acres about
4 miles west of Devine, Texas. Married to Annie (real name, Barbara Ann)
and she is my best friend. I have 4 kids and that's why my hair is
thinning..*S* Three girls and one boy. They are from the oldest to the
youngest, Kelly age 20, Christy age 16, Chelsea age 13 and the love of
my life, Dustin age 10 and what a hand full. He is his fathers child. He
has been on a tractor by himself since he was 7, drives a Ford standard
truck by himself, has his own riding lawn mower and tries to cut his dads
yard all the time...which we fight over, and he never shuts up..*like
his father*.. and has 10 million questions. The girls are are a hand full
also. My theory is that God remembered everything that I did as a
teenager and gave it back to me as a parent...*groan*. I was born in
Jourdanton, Texas at a little hospital that didn't have a name until I
was born on November 10, 1958. When the nurses saw me for the first time
they said "Mercy what a beautiful baby". The doctor heard them saying
that and decided to name the hospital "Mercy Hospital". *S* For those of
you who do not know me YET, I talk all the time and my friends say that
I never shut up and I have been known to bullshit every once in awhile.
Anyway, were was I? I grew up on a 75 acre farm in Devine, Texas. I am
the oldest child and the first grandchild on my mothers side. So I am
a little bit spoiled...*S*. I have a younger brother, David and a baby
sister, Linda (that didn't really learn how to walk until she was
about 3 b/c I carried her everywhere..*S*). We moved to Carrizo Springs
when I was in the 4th grade and lived in town. I hated it!
My teen years were "FUN". Being in a small town next to the Mexican/US
border, you had to think up stuff to do. And most of the time it was
against the law. But it was just harmless fun unless you were the
father of the girl I was with. I married Becky when I was 18 and we had
Kelly and Christy, which was the best thing in our marriage except for
the sex. Divorced in 4 years. Meet Annie and we lived together for 2
years and then we got married on 10-22-82. We had Chelsea and Dustin and
in 8 more years we will have no more kids in the house.....YEA!
What I do for a living is that I'm the Inventory Control Manager for a
deparment call Inkjet here at Signtech. Check out our Web page at
Signtech and click on the big inkjet printer and that's my baby. I do
ALL the buying for this department from the raw frame in Canada to the
smallest screw here in San Antoino, Texas. I spend 70 to 75% of my day
talking on the phone with vendors and yes...some *special* net and R/T
friends and ya'll know who you are and you know that I really do love
ya'll...*S*. I'm responsible for all the inventory, which floats around
the 5 millon dollar range at all times. I have 2 assistants, which do all
the work. "Life is good". When I went to work here 3 years ago in
January, our vision was selling about 10 machines a year and now we sell
about 10 machines a month. My department is going thru some really big
growing pains right now. I see people nowdays in my department and I
don't even know their names. In November of this year we will be moving
into another 40,000 square foot building, right behind this plant and I
can't wait for the extra space. I love my job. I love talking to people
on the phone, and some of ya'll know that's soooo true and some of ya'll
are saying " Shit, he's right about that....the son-of-a-bitch never
shuts up". I love to be in control. I love to win and I hate to lose.
And I love spending money, even though I am ALWAYS complaing about how
much that I had to spend to buy something. I work anywhere from 60 to 65
hours a week and I've been called a workaholic. But I do take off on
Sunday. You have to draw the line somewhere..*S*
My day off usually consist of the same thing. Walk down the end of my
drive and get the Sunday paper with my dogs around 7 am. Walk over to my
grandfathers house with my 2 Dr Peppers (nothing like Dr Pepper in the
morning.....*looking at my Dr Pepper on my desk and I have a soft smile
on my face*..I read the sports page.....YEA Dallas Cowboys...ya'll
should see my office...I have cowboy stuff everywhere...ask Sharon, she
has seen it...*S*...don't get me started on the cowboys b/c I'll be here
all day. I go outside around 8am and pick up whatever trash there is
from the dogs and kids. Go to town and get gas for the lawn mower b/c
Dustin and Chelsea have used it all up in the 4-wheeler...*groan*. Get
the push lawn mower and do the trim work. My yard is close to 1.5 acres.
Then get on the riding lawn mower and cut my yard. Fill up the humming
bird feeders. I love those little guys..*S*. Haul off the trash barrels.
Take a shower. Fire up the barbecue pit and cook everything outside. I
love to cook outside. Ask me about my beer-in-a-butt chicken sometimes.
It's good. We almost always have friends over and we set outside in my
back yard under the shade tree and drink beer and lie to each other
while I cook. But mostly we laugh and have fun.
Well, I've bored ya'll enough. I can talk all day. E-mail me sometimes.
I love meeting new people and I love all my net friends that I have now.
Please sign my guest book and if your really nice, I'll add you to my
joke list.....*S*
