Here is a simple free geocities counter and a link for other counters also.
Geocities: Go to the the URL listed below but with your member name and password in it,
http://www.geocities.com/cgi-bin/counter/your member name.your password
example: www.geocities.com/cgi-bin/counter/beavis.butthead
you should see a 1 upon going to the URL.
Next, put the following line into the body of your page where you want the counter to show up.
IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/counter/your member name" - and put < and > on each end like this - < link in here > (I had to do this so it would put the text here instead of a link).
