Lizla’s Home Page

Welcome to Lizla’s Web Page, even though Lizla barely knows that it exists, and Mike provides most of the content. (such as it is)

If you’d like a silly little bit to read, here’s a random snippet from my old school notebooks, or someplace equally insignificant.

If you’d like something longer than a snippet, you can try some of these thoughts. There’re a couple of stories and some essays, I guess you’d call them. Mostly lies, really.

Ernie didn’t like the old background. Too pink. He also came up with the ideas for some elementary word and math tools. There’s a sort of flashcard for words, and some randomly-generated worksheets for addition and subtraction.

If the snippets and other thoughts do not sate your appetite for these webpages, try my log, although I have a feeling it will be updated only sporadically, with epochal pauses.

I used to have links (that I didn’t maintain very well) to people and places that seemed to have some connection, but they have all been replaced with a little blurb about granfalloons.

A Funny Thing: This page looks like it has a graded background when viewed on an Apple Powerbook, probably not the best platform for color-synching, but it sure makes mundane things look cool.

A few years ago, I bought Java in a Nutshell and tried my hand at a couple of applets. Two of them, Pentazle and Sitting Duck, are little, graphical puzzles.

If you’d like a slightly different perspective on some of the “statistics” used in the NFL and MBL, look here.

More general complaints can be found in the I am not a crackpot section.
