Meetings (Schedule-Programs) are held monthly at the Dallas Texins Activity Center Building located on the TI's Expressway site. The entrance to the TI site is located on the East side of US 75 (Central Expressway) North bound access road just north of the Midway overpass. The Activity center is the building on your left (North) as you enter the TI site.

Genealogy, with tens of millions of enthusiasts in the U.S. alone, is already one of the largest and fastest growing hobbies. This growth has been fueled by the continued expansion of Internet based research sites on Genealogy. One of the downsides of using the Internet for research is the lack of human interaction. Most of us started Genealogy as a hobby by walking around lost in the family history section of a library, until we were rescued by a librarian. And usually, that's where we got our first lesson or two on how to research our families. The Texins Genealogy Club attempts to fill some of this gap by providing resources and programs geared to helping its members with where to look, what to look for and why, just like that friendly librarian.
The club hosts a presentation at each meeting, drawing from local genealogy experts. Our members are also encouraged to present information in areas where they have experience or expertise.
Membership dues are $12/year. Dues are paid each January. Dues are prorated for people joining later in the year.
