Hello from the UK. I don't think it is any warmer here than it is in Alaska. Summer seems to have passed us by this year. I like the web page. Really colourful. We hosted a mascot from Alaska earlier this year - the girls loved him. We are a pack of 30 Brownies - a few more than you have! I think we operate in a different way to you as girls leave for guides when they are 10 and we take in new ones aged 7 from Rainbows, so the members of our pack are always changing. I found your site doing a yahoo search for Fairbanks, AK. I think it's so cool that you girls have a website. I will have to bring my 8 yo Brownie down here to see it. She will be thrilled. Her troop # is 201. She has a very active troop with 20+ girls an they earned 10 try-it's last year. She is eagerly awaiting her first overnight with them in about a month! Of course, it will be in a heated building because outdoor camping would be too cold. They will start working on bridging to be Junior Scouts.

I loved being a Girl Scout when I was younger. My middle school years to the middle of high school, I had a husband-wife team for leaders. We spent an overnight hiking in the Kettle Moraine, and believe me, we didn't have a heated building to sleep in. B r! Also, when I was 15, we took a trip to Mexico to see the National Girl Scout Center down in Cuernavaca, Mexico! It was fun to come back to school in January with a tan! Hope you have a productive year and love the website!
